What We Do
Afer School Program
Kreiman
Chess Academy has a number of programs available for schools who wish to start
an after school club or other chess activity. Group lessons will be conducted
using the latest teaching techniques and technology available. The sessions
will be designed to motivate and challenge the children while influencing
social interaction. The program will include the following:
· The
students will be assigned into groups based on their strength
· Each
session will consist of chess strategy that will gradually grow more complex
· The students will be encouraged to suggest moves and respond to questions
during each lesson
· Homework will be assigned to the students based on the lesson
· Students will be taught complete opening principles, middle game maneuvering,
and end game technique
· Students will be taught different types of pawn structure
· Students will be taught attacking and defensive techniques
· Students will be paired up to play each other based on their strength
· Logic and decision making will be taught
· Chess notation will be taught

Group
and Private Lessons
Kreiman
Chess Academy offers group and private lessons to players of all ages and skill
levels.
Grandmaster Boris Kreiman teaches these lessons and has over 10 years of
teaching experience. The lessons consist of a complete setup of student’s
openings, explanation of middle game themes and endgame technique. The group
lessons usually consist from 3 to 6 people.
